Apple CEO Tim Cook has once more taken to X/Twitter to announce when the next new device is coming, and while he avoids saying its full name, it's the MacBook Air.

Apple will soon bring its MacBook Air up to speed. It's been nearly a year since we got our last MacBook Air update when Apple released the M3 Air in early March 2024, so a spring refresh with the M4 processor has been expected for some time.

While we’re not expecting a full event, Apple has been rumored to release several key products in the spring timeframe, and as if on cue, Apple CEO Tim Cook kicked off the week with an animated post on X that read,

Regarding iPad, Gurman speculated that the slates will follow the M4 MacBook Air in a different announcement. However, it's always possible the company could push that time frame forward and announce both the MacBook and iPad Air.
