A Binghamton man police identified as a suspect in a double homicide was taken into custody in Florida on Wednesday.

A multi-state search for a man suspected of killing two people in Binghamton, New York has ended at a McDonald's in Florida, where the man was captured and taken into custody.

Binghamton Police identified Mitchell as a suspect in the deaths of Daniel McCloe, 58, and Marshall VanOven, 55, who were found dead in a Binghamton home on Feb. 5. Deputies in Florida are actively searching for Mitchell, according to the Facebook post. Binghamton Police have said Mitchell should be considered armed and dangerous.
