Maharashtra CM Fadnavis stated a collapsed Pune bridge, which killed four, was previously declared dangerous with warnings posted. A new bridge contract was awarded, and work had begun.

No one was injured in the incident, and the blaze was doused promptly. The incident took place near Yavat in Pune district at around 8 am, an official from Daund railway police station told PTI.
