An 18-year-old man died, and another 18-year-old who was with him was charged with murder for his connection to the shooting.

Charges have been filed against a man following a fatal shooting at a Kansas City liquor store Monday evening.

A judge approved the motion requested by an attorney representing Joseph Lapsley during a hearing on April 29.
