Authorities have ramped up their efforts by air, sea and land to track down the 20-year-old University of Pittsburgh student who went missing six days ago while vacationing in the Dominican Republic resort town of Punta Cana.

The Dominican Republic National Police are forming a new "high-level commission to oversee the case" of missing University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki.Konanki, 20, was on a spring break trip with friends in the tourist town of Punta Cana when she went missing last week.

Sudiksha Konanki, 20, who was on spring break from the University of Pittsburgh, was last seen on a beach in Punta Cana.
