WASHINGTON — Bestway Sandwiches, Inc. is recalling nearly 25,000 pounds of frozen chicken and cheese taquito products that may be contaminated with foreign materials. The items were produced on July 3, 2024, and Sept. 25, 2024.

Aldi recalled approximately 24,870 pounds of Casa Mamita Mexican food, specifically chicken and cheese taquitos. The U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) reported the recall on January 11 after a piece of metal was found in the product.

We recently caught wind of a massive chicken broth recall coming out of Walmart, and now Aldi has placed its hat in the proverbial ring. The popular discount retailer is responsible for over 24,000 pounds of frozen foods being recalled due to the potential contamination with a foreign material.
