The Golden State Warriors managed to return to winning ways in a huge way on Monday night as they visited Stephen Curry’s hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina and took a 119-101 win over the Hornets.

Since the Golden State Warriors acquired six-time All-Star forward Jimmy Butler, superstar point guard Steph Curry has taken his game to the next level. The Warriors were struggling on the season, but the new dynamic duo has revived the championship hopefuls completely.

The Golden State Warriors didn’t play their best game on Monday night. But welcoming back Jimmy Butler III, who missed Saturday’s brutal loss, and playing an awful Charlotte Hornets team was enough to get the job done.

Midway through the fourth quarter of the Golden State Warriors 119-126 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, Stephen Curry slammed home a breakaway dunk. The rare feat was all the more impressive when considering Curry's age (36) and the fact he's dealt with knee issues throughout the season.
