Anyone heading outside Tuesday should bundle up due to dangerous wind chill values, the National Weather Service said.

The National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory, which will be in effect from 6 p.m. Monday until noon on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service issued an updated cold weather advisory at 3:18 a.m. on Tuesday valid from 6 p.m. until Wednesday 9 a.m. for Limestone, Madison, Morgan, Marshall, Jackson, DeKalb and Cullman counties.

The coldest air of the season will begin filtering into the area Friday night, according to the National Weather Service. From Sunday to Tuesday, wind Chills are expected to bottom out between -10 and -20 degrees each morning and only reach the single digits in the afternoon.

On Tuesday at 6:06 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated cold weather advisory in effect until 7 p.m. for Northern Erie and Southern Erie as well as Crawford County.
