Jones spent his first four NFL seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. On Monday, the Carolina Panthers signed him to a two-year free agent deal. According to Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports, Jones' new contract is worth $20 million dollars over those two years.

Carolina is adding an edge rusher. The Panthers have agreed to sign Patrick Jones to a two-year deal worth up to $20 million. Jones, 26, was a Vikings third-round pick in 2021 and just completed his rookie contract.

Outside linebacker Pat Jones II, per numerous sources, has agreed to a two-year, $20 million deal to join the Carolina Panthers. A third-round pick of the Vikings out of Pitt in the 2021 NFL Draft, Jones had a career year in 2024.
