The Texas health department has reported 702 cases of measles in the state on Tuesday, an increase of 19 cases since May 2, as the U.S. battles one of its worst outbreaks of the childhood disease.

There are more than 930 confirmed cases of measles across the U.S. as of Friday, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, with a majority of the highly contagious illness present in Texas.
