Democratic lawmakers say El Salvador must return a Maryland man wrongly deported by the Trump administration or they will visit the central American nation this week to seek answers.

Attorney General Pam Bondi said it is up to El Salvador whether a Maryland man mistakenly deported by the Trump administration is returned to the U.S.

In a filing on Saturday, the U.S. State Department, however, did not address a judge's demands that the Trump administration detail what steps it is taking to return Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the United States.
