Rachel Zegler will star in Evita at the London Palladium this year. The stage and screen star will make her London theatre debut in the show, which is directed by Jamie Lloyd, and begins this June.

Rachel Zegler is set to make her West End debut in a revival of Evita at the London Palladium this summer. The 23-year-old actress will take on the role of Argentina's First Lady Eva Perón in the Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber musical.

While of course known for her more recent film roles, Zegler made her screen debut in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story adaptation as Maria, and recently starred opposite Heart

Zegler parlayed the critical success of “West Side Story” into leading roles in the “Hunger Games” prequel “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes,” in which she again flexed her vocal chops as impoverished tribute Lucy Gray Baird, as well as Disney’s “Snow White” remake with Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen, which opens on March 21.

The Golden Globe winner, 23, who is the lead star of the adaptation, attended a promotional event in Segovia, Spain on Tuesday ahead of the film’s release on March 21.
