Oklahoma City led by as many as 56 points in Sunday's game, handing the Grizzlies as deflating of a loss as possible. Grizzlies star point guard Ja Morant tried to keep Memphis in the game, scoring 17 points on poor 6-17 shooting.

The Grizzlies couldn't score. Offense was tough to come by against a vaunted Oklahoma City defense. The results efforts translated to the other end of the floor, resulting in an efficient offensive night for the Thunder and a lackluster performance from Memphis.

Star point guard Ja Morant was confident that the Memphis Grizzlies would improve following a lopsided 131-80 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series. “We will never play that bad again," Morant said after the contest, per ESPN's Tim MacMahon.
