Apple is limping into its big summer event this year. WWDC 2025 is an opportunity for it to address concerns about its delayed Apple Intelligence AI.

Apple made a big deal of its machine learning smarts at WWDC 2025, and that’s found its way to the Reminders app. In iOS 26, Reminders will suggest things such as tasks and grocery items, plus follow-ups based on your emails or other text on your iPhone, Mac, and more.

Even though Apple has not yet launched the highly anticipated Siri upgrade -- the company said we will hear more about it in the coming year -- when it came to event time, Apple unveiled a slew of AI features across its devices and operating systems, including iOS, MacOS, WatchOS, and iPadOS.

Apple is late to the artificial intelligence party. That’s what Wedbush analysts said after the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference keynote didn’t include a specific timeline on AI-driven Siri features investors had been waiting for.

With Google and Microsoft’s developer conferences out of the way, now it’s time for Apple’s WWDC. The Cupertino company is gearing up to unveil new versions (and new numbers) for all its operating systems, as well as taking a second step at convincing everyone it’s a major player in the AI industry.

The new design is rumored to match its upcoming 20th anniversary iPhone, featuring curved glass and slim bezels.
