Jeremy Clarkson has revealed the supportive text message he sent to Christian Horner following the announcement of his sacking from Red Bull. The star of Clarkson's Farm, a fervent Formula 1 enthusiast, also speculated on which team might be next for his friend.

Karun Chandhok speculated that Christian Horner could join Alpine as team principal after his Red Bull exit. Horner was relieved of his duties as Red Bull F1 CEO last week in a surprise announcement, after 20 years and 14 world titles with the team.

By sacking Christian Horner, Red Bull has made a big change to try to return to F1 winning ways. But there are other steps it must take, too
