Ian Happ and Matt Shaw homered in the seventh inning, helping Cade Horton and the Chicago Cubs beat the Chicago White Sox 6-1 on Saturday night.

Ben Brown pitched five effective innings, Pete Crow-Armstrong drove in two runs and the Chicago Cubs held off the Chicago White Sox for a 5-4 win.

Cubs left-hander Shota Imanaga turned to look over his left shoulder at the video board showing the replay of the home run he just had given up in the fourth inning Friday. In a game the Cubs would go on to lose 12-5 to the White Sox, it was the third homer Imanaga had yielded, all on fastballs that caught too much of the strike zone.

The Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox have been battling this weekend in the latest edition of their cross-town rivalry. During Sunday's series finale, the two teams combined for the craziest play of the MLB season, which ended with the Cubs scoring a run thanks to a correct ruling by an ump.

This round of the City Series arrives as the July 31 trade deadline nears. The Cubs are in a position to buy while the White Sox will be looking to sell.

Cubs rookie Cade Horton has been inconsistent, but he has fanned 4+ batters in five of his last seven starts. He'll face a White Sox lineup that is 29th in the majors in OPS (.660) and 24th in strikeout rate (23.2%).

After a 12-5 win on Friday, the White Sox entered the Game 2 of the Crosstown Series ranked first or second in MLB in runs scored (61), runs per game (8.7), run differential (plus-33), slugging percentage (.544), OPS (.909), hits (80), batting average (.307), on-base percentage (.365) and doubles (23).
