Anthony Jones has a standard of the kind of player he wants to become. And as a freshman at St. Paul’s Episcopal in Mobile, a picture of that standard was on the other sideline: Qua Russaw.

Jihaad Campbell, who has started the majority of the past two seasons as a Crimson Tide linebacker, was selected with the No. 31 overall pick of the 2025 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles, which traded up one spot to secure the Alabama defender.

Alabama had nine players invited to the 2025 NFL Combine and has two other players hoping to be selected from April 24-26. Quarterback Jalen Milroe, offensive guard Tyler Booker and linebacker Jihaad Campbell are at the draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
