The National Weather Service (NWS) is sending a survey team to a Los Angeles County neighborhood after a tornado possibly touched down Thursday morning. A resident on the 9500 block of Glencannon

A possible tornado was reported early Thursday in Pico Rivera as a late winter storm brought rain and strong winds to Los Angeles County. The possible tornado was reported at about 3:15 a.m. near the community southeast of downtown Los Angeles.

Some trees were knocked down in a Pico Rivera neighborhood early Thursday morning, and the National Weather Service will be looking into whether it was a tornado. The incidents were reported in the area surrounding Glencannon Drive next to Church Street.
