Bruins GM Reveals Truth Behind Brad Marchand-to-Panthers Trade
Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney has broken his silence on the trade that sent longtime captain Brad Marchand to the Florida Panthers. Sweeney, speaking about the moves completed by the Bruins ahead of Friday's deadline, called Marchand's trade a “really, really difficult decision.”
Marchand, who choked up at times, noted Don Sweeney had to do what was best for the team when the general manager traded the captain to Florida.
