The Mumbai Police reported that they have discovered up to 19 fingerprints belonging to accused Bangladeshi national Mohammed Shariful Islam at the crime scene in actor Saif Ali Khan's residence.

The actor's attacker is currently in the custody of Mumbai Police for 5 days for interrogation regarding the motive and his nationality.
