HUGO, Okla. (KXII) - A man who was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service was arrested in Hugo Monday. Police said Ronald Yates, 60, who was described as having “violent tendencies,” got away from law enforcement in Texas last week.

"This strategic decision will involve relocating KFC U.S. corporate office employees currently in Louisville, Kentucky, to the KFC and Pizza Hut Global headquarters in Plano, Texas. In addition, U.S.-based remote employees will be asked to relocate to the campus where their work happens."

In the press release, Yum! Brands Chief Executive Officer David Gibbs said this transfer will benefit the brand in the near future.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has suggested Kentucky Fried Chicken should change its name to Texas Fried Chicken, after KFC announced it is moving its U.S. headquarters to the Lone Star State. Newsweek contacted Yum! Brands, KFC's parent company, for comment on Thursday outside of regular office hours.

The relocation to Texas by Yum! Brands, which Pepsico spun off in 1997, is a move to help keep the company growing. Today, KFC has more than 30,000 restaurants in 150 countries and is considered the second-largest restaurant chain in the world, behind only McDonald’s.

Kentucky Fried Chicken is being uprooted from its ancestral home state in a shake up announced Tuesday by its parent company that will relocate the chain’s US corporate office to Texas.

KFC is leaving Kentucky. The fried chicken chain’s U.S. headquarters will move from Louisville, Kentucky, to Plano, Texas, owner Yum Brands said Tuesday. About 100 KFC U.S. employees will be required to relocate over the next six months.
