The new uniform will replace the navy “Wrigleyville” City Connect jerseys, which the team is retiring. The Cubs are scheduled to debut the alternate jerseys April 5, when they play the Padres in the first home series of the year. The team will then wear them for Friday home games throughout the summer.
Sammy Sosa and Derrek Lee will be inducted into the Cubs Hall of Fame in 2025, with a ceremony at Wrigley Field this summer.
