Former Alabama safety Nick Perry has been hired as secondary coach at Arkansas, it was announced Thursday. The 33-year-old Perry has spent the last four seasons in the NFL, most recently as a defensive assistant with the Seattle Seahawks.
South Alabama on Sunday picked up a transfer portal commitment from Miller McCrumby, a former Arkansas State tight end. McCrumby (6-foot-4, 238 pounds) caught 26 passes for 217 yards in 27 games the last three seasons at Arkansas State. A native of Mount Pleasant, Texas, he has one year of eligibility remaining.
