The boy was getting into a car to go to school at Samuel Fels High School with his mom Tuesday morning when he was shot, School District of Philadelphia spokesperson Monique Braxton said.

Police have recovered a Jeep they believe was used in the deadly shooting of a Philadelphia high school student as he was leaving for school with his mother.
