A peaceful protest in Salt Lake City turned deadly Saturday night when "Project Runway" alum and beloved fashion designer Arthur Folasa Ah Loo was tragically killed in a shooting incident during a "No Kings" rally.

Three people were taken into custody Saturday night in connection with a shooting during a "No Kings" protest in Salt Lake City, Utah, according to police.

The largely peaceful protests during the "No Kings Day" demonstration in downtown Los Angeles took an intense turn in the afternoon. Police ordered the crowd to disperse at about 4:15 p.m. PDT near Alameda Street and Temple Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's Central Division.

The Salt Lake City Police Department reported a shooting during the “No Kings” protest at 8 p.m. The peaceful bystander who was shot, Arthur Folasa Ah Loo, later died at the hospital. He is survived by his wife and two young children.

Most of the "No Kings" protests across the country were peaceful, however, one person has died from a shooting in Salt Lake City.
