One of the most legendary baseball tournaments is set to come to an end on Friday night as Mexico’s Charros de Jalisco takes on Leones del Escogido from the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean World Series Final.

Mexico vies to finish the 2025 Caribbean Series with an unblemished record as it battles powerhouse Dominican Republic in the championship game on Friday night. Charros de Jalisco (Mexico) won all four of its round-robin games before defeating Puerto Rico in Wednesday's semifinal bout.

Puerto Rico has always brought strong teams into the Caribbean World Series, though they have not won a championship since Criollos de Caguas won back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018. Indios was one of three teams that finished with a 2-2 record in the opening round, though they lost to Mexico like everyone else did.
