According to Arizona Sports’ John Gambadoro, there’s a legitimate possibility of the Lakers parting ways with LeBron James after seven seasons. “LeBron wants out of LA and they want him gone,” Gambadoro reported Tuesday. “Watch Game 1, how disinterested LeBron was.”

After star forward LeBron James opted into his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers for the 2025-26 season, there remains speculation that he could push for a trade at some point during the final year of his deal.
