Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to meet Elon Musk during his visit to the US next week. Musk will likely be part of a select delegation of CEOs who will meet Modi – who is undertaking the trip at the invitation of President Donald Trump.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi might meet with Tesla Inc. TSLA CEO Elon Musk during the former’s visit to the U.S. later this month, Indian local media reported on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting the United States on February 13 following an invitation by the US President Donald Trump. As per latest reports, an ‘El-Mo Meeting', i.e. a meeting between Elon Musk and PM Modi is on the cards.

Musk may also seek early regulatory approval to begin operations for Starlink, his satellite internet venture, in India.

Musk, who is now the head of the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), may push Modi for a level-playing field for Tesla in India.

The two leaders share cordial relations but experts say US's concerns over tariffs, illegal immigration might strain bilateral ties.

President Trump has invited Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the White House next week for a working visit, a White House official confirmed to The Hill. Modi will travel to Washington D.C. for a two-day visit.
