Soundgarden's Kim Thayil says he believes late singer Chris Cornell's reaction to the band's Rock Hall induction is that he would "be stoked."

Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron, a San Diego native, will become the first drummer to be inducted as a member of two different bands. He was previously inducted with Pearl Jam.

After missing the cut in its first two nominations, Soundgarden is going into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as part of its 2025 class.
