Philadelphia did most of its heavy-lifting last week, signing Saquon Barkley to a historic contract extension and re-signing All-Pro linebacker Zack Baun. While Baun is back, the Birds are expected to lose some of their free agents.

According to a report from The Athletic's Dianna Russini, the Philadelphia Eagles are signing former Atlanta Falcons running back Avery Williams to a one-year contract. The 26-year-old spent last season as Atlanta's starting punt returner.

After his release from the Cleveland Browns, long-time long snapper Charley Hughlett has landed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. Hughlett was a mainstay in Cleveland for a decade, tying offensive guard Joel Bitonio as the longest-tenured member of the team.
