The legendary late rocker Ozzy Osbourne was known for bizarre antics and wild acts, but his most infamous was biting off a dead bat's head in 1982.
Following the enormous success of The Osbournes, which ran for four seasons on MTV between 2002 and 2005, Ozzy Osbourne became a beloved member of society and was suddenly no longer seen as the standoffish musician who bit the heads off winged creatures.
Ozzy Osbourne, the front man for Black Sabbath, died July 22, just weeks after he reunited with his bandmates for a farewell concert in England. He was 76.
No cause of death was given but Osbourne revealed in 2020 that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. The illness made him unable to walk, and he performed his last concert on July 5 in Birmingham sitting on a black throne.
