A shooting in Central El Paso, potentially gang-related, resulted in one person hospitalized. Authorities are investigating the incident which occurred around 4:35 p.m. on Porter Avenue.

The shooting occurred about 12:20 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, in the 6900 block of Copper Town Drive in the Mesquite Hills neighborhood, police said. One person was transported to a hospital in undisclosed condition. Further information was not immediately available as the investigation continued Monday.
