Eric Coomer sued after Mike Lindell called him a traitor and accusations about him stealing the election were streamed on Lindell's online media platform.

Mike Lindell, founder of MyPillow, has been ordered to pay a former employee millions in damages after he was found liable for defamation. Lindell called the former employee, Eric Coomer, a traitor and accused him of stealing the 2020 presidential election on his online media platform. Coomer, was awarded $2.3 million in damages.

The verdict stems from a lawsuit filed by Coomer, who claimed that Lindell's false statements ruined his ability to work in the elections industry and destroyed his career and life.
