Firefighters were busy battling a brush fire that was threatening homes in Poway Monday afternoon. An evacuation warning was ordered for residents on Glen Oak Road and Wilsey Way. Fire crews were able to stop the forward progress of the 2-acre brush fire in Poway that broke out near the intersection of Ted Williams Pkwy and Pomerado Road.
