Delhi’s political landscape is poised for a significant change as Atishi, the Chief Minister-designate, prepares to take her oath of office on 21.

Arvind Kejriwal resigned as the Delhi chief minister on Tuesday, after which Atishi staked claim to form a new government in the national capital.

Atishi, who was proposed as the CM-designate by Arvind Kejriwal, will take oath along with her council of ministers.

Gopal Rai, Kailash Gahlot, Saurabh Bharadwaj and Imran Hussain will continue in the council of ministers headed by Atishi.

Four ministers in the Arvind Kejriwal government will retain their posts as Atishi takes charge as Delhi's new Chief Minister on Friday, sources have said.

Atishi, who is set to become Delhi CM, is unlikely to experiment. Present Cabinet ministers are likely to be retained while two new members could be inducted for the vacancies created recently.
