The Air India plane crash this week was one of India’s worst aviation disasters, killing 241 people on board and several people on the ground.

Indian civil aviation officials said 232 passengers and 12 crew members were on board the plane when it crashed.

Flyers are seeking details about aircraft types and safety records before their trips, however, it hasn't led to a drop in flight bookings so far and cancellations remain minimal.
