At Friday's practice in Latrobe, the Steelers participated in the iconic seven-shots drill — an intense red-zone simulation where the offense lined up at the two-yard line and the defense attempted to stop them from getting in. And Rodgers' performance more than made up for yesterday's interception on the first throw of team drills.

Through two unpadded practices at Saint Vincent College, that puzzle is starting to come together. The Steelers have been playing a heavy dose of nickel defense with Ramsey in the slot. Meanwhile, Joey Porter Jr. and Darius Slay have lined up outside. DeShon Elliott has played strong safety and Juan Thornhill has been in the post at free safety.

While it won't officially count on the career stat sheet, Jalen Ramsey did get his first interception off of Aaron Rodgers during the Pittsburgh Steelers' third training camp practice.  Ramsey's pick was a microcosm of the type of day it was for both sides of the ball.
