Fabulous. So much to see and plenty of hikes to take. Some have a sandy bed so beware as it’s hard to walk in it. Otherwise a beautiful park and certainly worth the trip. Good visitors bureau too.Full review by seetheworld010

The interstate goes right through Tucson and the NP has both a west and an east section. Either one is only about 30 to 45 min. max from the highway to the visitor center in each section …

Either one is only about 30 to 45 min. max from the highway to the visitor center in each section Try putting in your map app on a smart phone - Tucson to the Red Hills Visitor Center (West part of the NP). You'll get a good number that is likely in that range.

King Canyon trail is very nice but quite rocky. Parking is very close to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum which is also excellent.
